PAL Advisory as of February 15, 2020

Health Locator Form / Temporary Unavailability of Home-Printed/Digital Boarding Pass

Philippine Airlines is taking additional measures to protect the health and safety of our valued passengers who will be required to undergo stringent screening at the airport check-in counters.

CHECK-IN COUNTER PRINTED BOARDING PASS REQUIREMENT

Starting February 16, 2020, PAL’s self-printed / digital boarding passes will be temporarily unavailable for all international and domestic flights.

Passengers may still use our Self-Service Check-in Facility but will only receive a Confirmation Document confirming that their check-in request has been processed, however, a printable digital boarding pass will not be issued.

To get their boarding pass, all passengers using the self-service check-in facility, with or without baggage, must proceed to the Airport Check-in Counter with a printed/digital copy of their Confirmation Document and their valid government issued ID (and passport with applicable visas, for international flights). The Confirmation Document cannot be used and will not serve as a boarding pass.

PAL’s self-printed / digital boarding pass facility will resume once health authorities discontinue stringent screening requirements for COVID-19.

HEALTH LOCATOR FORM REQUIREMENT

All passengers will likewise be asked to accomplish a health locator form for submission to the Cabin Crew during the flight for domestic flights and to the boarding gate agent for international flights. This form may be used for possible health monitoring as required by health authorities.

To allow enough time for additional airport screening, passengers are urged to arrive at the airport terminal at least:

1. Four (4) hours before scheduled time of departure for all international flights from Manila
2. Three (3) hours before scheduled time of departure for all international flights at airports other than Manila
3. Three (3) hours before scheduled time of departure for all domestic flights

PAL’s check-in counters close 1 hour before flight departure for international flights and 45 minutes for domestic flights.

We thank our passengers for their full cooperation and understanding.
